International Food Trucks

TIME: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

LOCATION: William Pitt Union Driveway

 
Back by popular demand, the International Week Committee has invited several of the most popular food trucks in the city to share their innovative and delicious cuisines with you. They will be outside of the Union during the lunch hour on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. Cultures from all over the world will be represented by several of the most popular food trucks in the city. Recipes and cuisine are one of the many things that migrant peoples can take with them and can serve as a reminder of that which has been left behind. Students can learn about the problems facing these communities while sampling their innovative and delicious cuisines.

World History Center Brown Bag Lunch

TIME: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

This World History Center Brown Bag Lunch event will be focused on the topic "What does World History have to say about life in our troubled present".  Drop by to discuss with our World History Center faculty members. 

World Language Trivia Night

TIME: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

LOCATION: Cathedral of Learning G-17

Do you love all things languages? Come out for a fun round of quiz questions on world languages at World Language Trivia Night. You and your polyglot friends (teams of 3-5 people) can enter to compete, or you can come out to simply watch and enjoy the event. Food and refreshments will be served!
